About the Role

The Odoo Consultant manages client projects end-to-end, from initial requirements to system implementation and user training. The role involves consulting clients on best practices, designing proofs-of-concept, guiding development tasks, and conducting key-user training sessions. Consultants work closely with the internal developer and consultant teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and take ownership of assigned Odoo projects
  • Lead projects directly with clients, ensuring quality and timeliness
  • Advise clients on Odoo functionality and suggest process improvements
  • Conduct demos to engage and attract new clients
  • Translate client requirements into proofs-of-concept and analyses
  • Define development tasks for the internal team and oversee implementation
  • Support the full Odoo implementation cycle, including key-user training
  • Collaborate closely with in-house developers and consultants

Requirements

  • University degree (e.g., business administration with focus on accounting or sales) or equivalent professional experience in finance or ERP
  • Experience in project management
  • Strong understanding of business processes and pragmatic, solution-oriented thinking
  • High IT affinity and interest in continuous learning
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients
  • Fluent in German and English
