About the Role
The position focuses on financial accounting and annual financial statements using Odoo (DATEV) within a fully remote setup. The role involves supporting tax advisors and independently managing a personal client portfolio. Responsibilities
- Prepare annual financial statements and profit determinations in Odoo (DATEV)
- Process and generate financial accounting records and VAT advance returns using Odoo (DATEV)
- Contribute to ongoing projects aimed at improving and digitizing internal processes
- Collaborate closely with the Odoo team
- Maintain an active and professional relationship with assigned clients
Required Skills
- Completed training as tax clerk, certified accountant, tax specialist, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of two years of practical experience preparing annual financial statements and tax returns in Odoo
- Preferably strong knowledge of DATEV
- Structured, reliable, and self-directed working style
- Excellent German language skills (spoken and written)
- Strong numerical affinity, team mindset, and a positive attitude
- Enjoyment in communicating with clients and colleagues
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in remote work settings
- Familiarity with digital workflows within tax consulting environments
- Participation in process optimization or software implementation projects
