About the Role

The Functional Consultant serves as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation lifecycle, from requirements analysis to the successful go-live of Odoo solutions. The role involves understanding business needs, configuring ERP solutions, supporting users, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyse client business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional Odoo solutions.
  • Configure and implement Odoo modules, including accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory, project management, and CRM.
  • Prepare functional analyses and related documentation.
  • Deliver user training and provide functional support.
  • Collaborate with developers on custom developments and enhancements.
  • Monitor project progress and support successful project delivery.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to long-term customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Education and/or professional experience in management, accounting, business IT, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with an ERP system is beneficial.
  • Experience with Odoo is considered an advantage for senior-level candidates.
  • Junior candidates should demonstrate curiosity and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of financial, commercial, and logistics business processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • Fluent French and Dutch language skills are required.
  • English language skills are considered an asset.

Nice to Have

  • Valid Category B driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for client visits.
