About the Role
An experienced Odoo Functional Consultant is sought for a project-based engagement, primarily based in London. The role covers the full Odoo implementation lifecycle, including pre-sales discovery, solution demonstrations, configuration, training, go-live, and post-implementation support. It is a client-facing position with a strong focus on functional consulting, business process optimization, and collaboration with both technical and sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct business requirement gathering and process analysis workshops with clients.
- Lead pre-sales discovery sessions and deliver Odoo demonstrations, both remotely and on-site.
- Analyze business processes and recommend best-practice Odoo solutions.
- Configure Odoo modules based on business requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications, business process documentation, and user stories.
- Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to implement customized solutions.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate functional deliverables.
- Provide end-user training and prepare user documentation.
- Support data migration, go-live activities, and post-implementation support.
- Manage multiple implementation projects while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advise clients on business process optimization and digital transformation using Odoo.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum Odoo V17 Functional Certification (V19 certification is a strong advantage).
- At least 2 years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo V16, V17, V18, and V19 (Enterprise and Community editions).
- Proven experience in end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations, pre-sales, and client-facing consulting.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct live product demonstrations for business and executive stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies and business process mapping.
- Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
- Willingness to travel across the UK for client meetings and project engagements when required.
