About the Role
An Odoo Programmer is being sought to join the development team responsible for ERP solutions built on the Odoo platform. The position involves working closely with internal specialists and clients to design, develop, and optimize customized modules that support business processes and improve system scalability.
The role focuses on building reliable and flexible ERP solutions while contributing to the continuous improvement of existing systems and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain modules and customizations within the Odoo platform
- Integrate Odoo with external systems including ERP, CRM, and e commerce platforms through REST APIs and web services
- Collaborate with consultants and analysts to deliver functional and technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high quality coding standards
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure system reliability and stability
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience working on Odoo development projects
- Advanced proficiency in Python with experience in MVC frameworks and clean coding practices
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL including schema design, optimized queries, indexing, and maintenance
- Experience working with XML and QWeb for building Odoo views, reports, and templates
- Experience with JavaScript ES6+ and development of widgets or interface customizations in Odoo
- Strong understanding of Odoo core modules
Nice to Have
- Official Odoo certification
- Experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes deployments, or cloud environments
- Knowledge of DevOps practices
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Basic knowledge of Linux infrastructure, particularly Debian or Ubuntu, for managing Odoo servers
- Location in or near Ontinyent is considered an advantage
