About the Role
The Odoo Solution Architect role is central to designing scalable ERP landscapes and steering clients through successful Odoo transformation journeys. This position involves defining technical architectures, shaping long-term digital roadmaps, and ensuring seamless integration with surrounding systems. The Solution Architect acts as a strategic advisor, bridging business needs with robust technical solutions while collaborating closely with developers, consultants, and commercial teams.
Responsibilities
- Design ERP solution architectures that maximize standard Odoo capabilities and identify where custom development provides strategic value
- Translate business objectives into clear, scalable technical roadmaps
- Evaluate integration requirements with external systems such as PIM, WMS, OMS, CRM, and other third-party platforms
- Ensure technical solutions align with business expectations and maintain architectural consistency
- Conduct discovery workshops to assess business processes, IT environments, and integration needs
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify risks, opportunities, and added value early in the project cycle
- Advise clients on optimal Odoo setups, including multi-company structures, multi-currency environments, and hosting strategies
Required Skills
- In-depth expertise in Odoo, including data models, API, Studio, and platform limitations
- Strong understanding of common ERP architectures and enterprise-level solutions
- Experience working with integrations between Odoo and external systems
- Excellent analytical capabilities with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Strong communication skills and confidence in leading client discussions
- Fluency in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience acting as a technical or solution architect in ERP or digital transformation projects
- Background collaborating with both technical teams and commercial stakeholders
- Familiarity with integration patterns and scalable system design
- Ability to anticipate business challenges and propose strategic technical solutions
