About the Role
Verda is seeking an Odoo ERP professional to support both ERP optimization and procurement operations. The role combines responsibility for improving Odoo procurement and supply chain processes with hands-on involvement in day-to-day procurement activities. The successful candidate will help automate workflows, improve reporting, support procurement teams, and contribute to scalable business operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the continuous optimization of the Odoo ERP system for procurement and supply chain operations.
- Design and maintain workflows, approval processes, user roles, permissions, and master data.
- Automate manual procurement tasks and standardize processes across EMEA, the US, and APAC.
- Build and maintain purchase order approval workflows and improve RFQ, purchase order, inventory, and vendor management processes.
- Develop dashboards and reports covering purchasing spend, supplier performance, lead times, and inventory.
- Provide day-to-day ERP support to procurement users and resolve system-related issues.
- Translate user feedback into practical ERP improvements.
- Support procurement activities, including RFQs, purchase orders, supplier follow-up, shipment tracking, supplier onboarding, and documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve order, delivery, and invoice issues.
- Support spend analysis and forecasting.
- Train users and maintain system documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience implementing or administering Odoo ERP, including workflow configuration, approval processes, and user permissions.
- 2 to 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or ERP operations.
- Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate operational requirements into system improvements.
- Professional English communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Logistics, Warehouse, and Operations teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Odoo Studio, Python, PostgreSQL, XML, or API integrations.
- Experience creating Power BI dashboards.
- Previous experience supporting procurement or supply chain teams.
- Knowledge of AI infrastructure, data center operations, or hardware procurement.
- Experience working in a fast-growing technology company.
- Mandarin language skills.
