About the Role

Portcities is looking for a Delivery Manager – Consulting to lead its France consulting team. The role focuses on ensuring successful project delivery, maintaining customer satisfaction, improving operational efficiency, and supporting team development. The Delivery Manager will oversee consulting performance, project outcomes, resource allocation, and delivery standards while contributing to the growth of Portcities France operations. The position is based in Marseille, and candidates must be located in Marseille or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve consulting team invoiceability and utilization.
  • Ensure effective resource planning, project allocation, and team availability.
  • Support the sales team by providing delivery insights and increasing confidence in project execution.
  • Identify and manage change requests to optimize revenue and reduce project-related losses.
  • Forecast consulting income and take corrective actions when required.
  • Ensure proper control of project scope and deliverables.
  • Improve customer relationships through transparent communication, risk management, and delivery of effective solutions.
  • Handle escalations when project issues cannot be resolved by team leaders or consultants.
  • Participate in critical client negotiations while protecting customer relationships and company interests.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the consulting team.
  • Implement performance management and development processes.
  • Promote accountability, discipline, and compliance with internal company standards.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies related to timesheets, work arrangements, and schedules.
  • Support internal management meetings and follow up on agreed action plans.
  • Encourage collaboration, initiative, and professional work standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in ERP environments.
  • Experience with Odoo is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Odoo ERP, including configuration and customization.
  • Proven experience as an Odoo Consultant or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills in English.
  • Native or fluent French language skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Experience with other ERP systems and business applications is a plus.
  • Odoo certification or equivalent industry certifications are preferred.
  • Valid work authorization in France.
