About the Role
Foodles is hiring a Senior Odoo Developer to strengthen the team responsible for internal tools supporting food, supply chain, and logistics operations. The role focuses on building and evolving Odoo-based solutions that reduce manual work, eliminate shadow IT, and improve data quality across operational teams. This position offers strong ownership, involvement in product design, and impact on real-world logistics and sustainability challenges such as food waste reduction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Odoo modules, including contributions to open-source components.
- Write production-ready code with tests and coverage for Kanban-based tasks.
- Review code from other engineers and contribute to shared quality standards.
- Integrate business SaaS tools through APIs to support supply chain and logistics workflows.
- Participate in product and offer design in close collaboration with business teams.
- Share knowledge through tech talks, pair programming, and daily collaboration.
- Propose organizational and technical improvements during retrospectives.
- Support ERP migration initiatives, including the transition from Odoo v14 to v17.
Required Skills
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Odoo development (any version).
- Strong backend development skills, particularly for internal tools and ERP systems.
- Proven ability to write clean, tested, and maintainable Python code.
- Experience working across the full delivery lifecycle, from design to production monitoring.
- Comfort providing and receiving constructive technical feedback.
- Curiosity and adaptability when working outside established comfort zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in food, supply chain, or logistics environments.
- Contributions to the Odoo Community Association (OCA).
- Experience with Django backend development.
- Familiarity with React for frontend work.
- Interest in sustainability, data quality, and operational efficiency.
