About the Role
The role involves working with Odoo ERP solutions to deliver and support customized modules, integrations, and functional enhancements. This position requires collaboration with both internal teams and clients to ensure Odoo implementations are optimized, efficient, and aligned with business needs. Candidates will engage in both functional configuration and technical development of Odoo modules.
Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and maintain Odoo modules, including payroll, HR, and shipping solutions
- Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and propose functional or technical solutions
- Customize and extend Odoo modules to meet specific business needs
- Test, debug, and deploy solutions to ensure reliability and performance
- Contribute to open-source Odoo projects maintained by the company
- Provide guidance, training, and support for Odoo end users
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements using tools like NewRelic
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Community or Enterprise)
- Strong understanding of Python, PostgreSQL, and Odoo module development
- Experience in functional configuration of Odoo modules (HR, Payroll, Shipping)
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Odoo workflows and integrations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for client-facing work
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with US Payroll regulations and state-specific implementations
- Experience contributing to open-source projects or Odoo community modules
- Knowledge of ERP best practices and HR/payroll automation
- Understanding of shipping integrations with scales, printers, and logistic workflows
