About the Role
The organization is seeking an experienced Senior Odoo Developer with deep technical expertise in Odoo ERP systems and a strong foundation in Python and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining customized Odoo solutions to optimize data processing, automation, and business workflows. This position involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners, particularly in integrating Odoo with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain customized Odoo modules, workflows, and features.
- Create detailed, data-driven reports using Odoo’s reporting tools and advanced SQL queries.
- Manage end-to-end development processes, ensuring smooth frontend and backend integration.
- Develop and maintain robust APIs and integrations, especially with Shopify and other third-party applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure system stability and optimal performance.
- Document technical solutions, configurations, and development processes.
- Provide internal training and user support to maximize Odoo’s value within the organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align development initiatives with business goals.
- Coordinate with external development partners for timely and effective project delivery.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Odoo development, customization, and module implementation.
- Strong technical proficiency in Python, JavaScript, XML, HTML/CSS, and PostgreSQL.
- Advanced experience with PostgreSQL queries and database optimization.
- Solid understanding of Odoo ORM and ERP frameworks.
- Proven experience in API development and system integrations, ideally with Shopify.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication abilities to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in e-commerce environments, particularly with Shopify.
- Familiarity with Shopify API and e-commerce process automation.
- Odoo certification or equivalent credentials in ERP development.
- Ability to manage projects independently while maintaining collaboration with cross-functional teams.
