About the Role
The Senior Project Manager Digital / Odoo Consultant position is dedicated to driving the implementation and continuous enhancement of Odoo as the core ERP, CRM, and Extranet system. This role provides strategic influence in shaping the omni-channel ecosystem, supporting digital transformation across retail and cultural business units, and guiding innovative product and technology developments. The role combines project leadership, workflow optimization, and cross-department coordination in a dynamic environment that encourages ownership and creative contribution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the rollout and ongoing enhancement of Odoo as the central platform for ERP, CRM, and Extranet functions
- Coordinate internal and external project teams to ensure timely progress of digital initiatives, including the evolution of the Allguth app toward a unified-commerce platform
- Design and refine workflows in Jira and Confluence, manage requirements, and maintain transparency and quality within software development processes
- Shape evolving project and product strategies, identify emerging technologies, and drive strategic digital transformation initiatives
- Define acceptance criteria and contribute to building a robust quality-management framework for software development
- Foster clear communication across the organization regarding project status, processes, and development updates
- Provide fresh perspectives and play an active role in shaping digital innovation in retail and culture
Required Skills
- Degree in IT, engineering, business, or equivalent professional qualification
- Several years of experience in managing digital products and systems (e.g., ERP, app, web) and leading projects
- Strong expertise in building structured processes within Jira and Confluence
- Solid command of project-management methodologies and tools (e.g., SCRUM, Prince2, Kanban)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and motivate stakeholders
- Strong team mindset combined with a high level of initiative and independent action
- Enthusiasm for technology, digitalization, and innovation
- Fluency in German (C1/C2) and strong English skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Odoo implementation or customization
- Background in omni-channel, retail technologies, or unified-commerce systems
- Familiarity with quality-management concepts in software development
- Prior involvement in digital transformation programs
