About the Role

The Shipping and Bookkeeping Clerk will support the finance and warehouse operations by managing shipping documentation, coordinating with suppliers and the warehouse team, and assisting with general accounting and bookkeeping tasks. The role reports to the Company Accountant and Finance Supervisor and is based on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation, customs clearance papers, and related payments
  • Follow up with suppliers on delivery timelines and required documentation
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely unloading and receipt of stock
  • Handle costing for incoming shipments and update inventory records in the accounting system
  • Prepare NSO declarations
  • Post purchase and sales orders, invoices, credit notes, and payments
  • Assist with bank and cash reconciliations
  • Support general accounting and bookkeeping tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Excellent command of English
  • Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of bookkeeping and logistics
  • Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Odoo, and Microsoft Excel
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
