About the Role
philoro is seeking a Python Odoo Developer to develop and optimize its company-wide ERP system.
The developer will implement new functionality, improve existing processes, build backend components, and integrate internal and external systems. The role involves working with interdisciplinary teams in an agile and dynamic project environment.
The position is based at the philoro GOLDWERK headquarters in Korneuburg. It is a full-time role with a 38.5-hour working week and up to two home-office days per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize the company-wide Odoo ERP system using Python.
- Implement new ERP functionality.
- Improve existing business processes and software solutions.
- Help ensure stable operation of the ERP system.
- Develop high-performance backend components.
- Build integrations between internal and external systems.
- Analyze complex business processes.
- Translate business requirements into efficient software solutions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Use Jira and Confluence to support project coordination and documentation.
- Work independently within agile and dynamic project environments.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience developing software applications.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript.
- Experience using Git.
- Experience with Docker.
- Strong analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to understand complex business processes.
- Ability to develop efficient software solutions based on business requirements.
- Interest in new technologies.
- Willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies and subject areas.
