About the Role
LaVita is seeking an Odoo Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend solutions based on Odoo.
The developer will customize existing modules, build new functionality, improve system performance, support Odoo migrations, and work with different internal teams to create reliable and user-friendly solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement customized backend solutions based on Odoo.
- Adapt existing Odoo modules.
- Develop new Odoo functionality.
- Analyze business processes and translate them into suitable backend architectures and systems.
- Improve efficiency and productivity through software solutions.
- Support and integrate Odoo migrations.
- Identify and resolve performance issues.
- Optimize the existing codebase.
- Collaborate with different teams on software projects.
- Develop sustainable and practical technical solutions.
- Build user-friendly applications.
- Provide technical support.
- Troubleshoot issues within Odoo environments.
- Support the maintenance of Odoo installations.
- Contribute to agile software development projects.
Requirements
- Vocational qualification in application development, degree in Computer Science, or comparable education.
- At least 3 years of backend development experience.
- Strong experience with Odoo modules.
- Experience with the Odoo API.
- Experience with Odoo Studio.
- Strong Python knowledge.
- Strong SQL knowledge.
- Experience with XML.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Experience using Git.
- Experience working with Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and spoken German.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
